4 Steps For Making A Habit

1) Cue : Make it obvious

The first step for making a habit is to make it obvious.

For example : When your phone's notification comes you know what you have to do . Open the phone and check what causes that notification.

How to use it ? The answer is you need to make your habit obvious . For that you can take a piece of sheet and write when and where you're gonna do it .

Even better method is that, you can use habit stacking the works like :

1) Wake up and get outta bed.

2) Brush your teeth's

3) Take a shower and get dressed.

4) Go for a morning walk .

And so on.

2) Craving :Make It Attractive

Second step is to make it attractive.

For example :
When you click the notification it gives you sudden flow dopamine , that's why it is attractive .

There is a trick to use it for making good habits .

You can relate any of the good habits to something you like to do .

For example :
If you want a habit of reading books you can just do something fun before reading like you can play video games for 5 - 10 minutes then immediately after that start reading books .
This will make reading books more attractive .

3) Response : Make It Easy

Third step is to make the habit easy . So that you start doing it .

For example:
It is very easy to just open your phone and click the notification .

But, doing exercise is hard , it consumes a lot of physical strength.

What you can do is make the habit easy.

Just , exercise for minutes in the starting , just read 1 page a day in Starting.

You can slowly, increase the time you give to that task.

4) Reward : Make It Satisfying

The last step for making something your daily habit is make it Satisfying.

For example : When you click on the notification and it opens then there is your reward you get to see the message or email or whatever the notification is about .

Whenever you follow your habits get yourself some small rewards to make the habit satisfying .

Like , after you read 10 pages you can get yourself a small reward like 10 minutes of video games .

Note : Dont get a reward that mess with the habit like dont get some junk food after exercising as a reward or whole habit will be of no means .

Conclusion

Make one or two habit a month , not more than that or you will have a great chance of failing.

What is the habit you wanna make firstly ? Comment down.
