The  five second rule is the golden rules that will help you beat procratination . It was discovered by Mel Robbins . You can use this five Second Rule whenever you are procrastinating . So, to use this rule you need to count backwards 5 4 3 2 1 and boom just dont think and start doing the work . This simple rule has changed lives of millions , example is Mel Robbins herself she was a procrastinating woman who always hit snooze button several times but when she applied this rule she wake up without hiting the snooze button even one time , first time in three months she tried it next , it was still working and age tried this rule to wake up for 3 - 4 days and it all worked . Then she started using this rule for other areas of her life , there also it worked , then she researched why this silly rule works and after year's of researching she wrote a book named "The Five Second Rule" .



Scientific Reason Why This Rule Works

The longer you will procrastinate , the less chances you have of doing that work because in the time we procrastinate , our brain convinces us to not to do that work by giving excuses like I am tired , lets do that work towmorrow . But, when you apply the five second rule your brain dont get the chance of convincing you and you start working . Well , keep this important note in the mind don't count 1 2 3 4 5, it will not work , only you can count 5 4 3 2 1 or even better just 3 2 1 , it will work.

You can use this rule almost anywhere in your life like whenever feeling angry just count 5 4 3 2 1 and just calm down , when arguing with someone just count 5 4 3 2 1 and stop fighting , when feeling feeling overwhelmed count 5 4 3 2 1, breathe and calm down .
